Motorcycle/ ATV jack- Good Buy for Sport/Dirtbikes?

Feb 19, 2010 Author admin

I just got a motorcycle jack for my boyfriend for Christmas but I’m wondering if its as great as I think it is. I did a lot of research and got the more expensive Craftsman jack from Sears. He does all his own work on his bikes (Ninja 650?, TL100R, dirtbikes- kx500 and honda 125 as well as a new parts bike and a regulation 3 snowmobile). What I want to know is if the jack will work with these types of sportsbikes/dirtbikes. Any ideas? I’ve heard a lot about cruisers on them but not sports bikes and I’m not sure why. . . The website say it Includes two adapter bars for high chassis vehicles such as dirt bike. ” Does this make it useful for all dirtbikes and sportbikes? And if you do a lot of your own bike maintenance, do you suggest a jack? Is it something you have found to be useful? Thanks for any help! =)I’m guessing that Polar Bear bought the less expensive $119 jack? The reviews for that one were terrible but the more expensive Professional jack had 4. 5 stars and people said it was great. . .

What is a good website/company for custom motorcycle kits (unassembled)?

And also, how much profit is there in building a kit bike from scratch and selling it, rather than buying a new bike? Thanks!
