Guest: Kent, I put new exhaust pipes on my motorcycle today and every time I rib up the engine it will shoot flames out the back. I do not have a flame thrower or anything like that on so I am unsure why its throwing flames every once in a while out of the pipes. I will rib it up and every 2 to 3 ribs it will have a small flame come out the back. I am not sure if that is normal on new pipes or what the problem is, can someone help?

Guest is asking: I found a custom exhaust system manufactured by flowmaster for my 2006 Dakota, I was just wondering if I would need to weld anything. I doesn’t say I need to on any of the instruction manuals or anything, I was just wondering if anybody would know if welding would be needed/and or recommended. Thanks in advance for all intelligent answers. Also, the exhaust is the Force II by Flowmaster.
