How can I find out the value of some gently used Harley Davidson accessories (leather saddlebags, etc)?

There are different types of motorcycle saddle bags out: buckled, snap-on, bolt-on or clip-on.  No matter which one you prefer, when buying motorcycle luggage accessories like a saddle bags, you need to consider a few things to ensure a less stressful and confusing experience. The first thing you need to check is how it mounts on your motorcycle. There are throw-over saddle bags that have a string you can place underneath the shocks and seats. Another factor is the lock. This will make sure your things are safe even if you leave your motorcycle. This is better than bringing your things every time you park your motorcycle.

The next factor pertains to buckles. Check the buckles if they can be easily accessible. If it will become inaccessible, especially while you drive your motorcycle, it will just bring you frustration rather than enjoyment.
